This is a screen capture of my favourite page on my website. I chose this one because I like the brands zero and toy machine the most as well as I think that this one looks the most organized. I have a few pages left to do and I think I should be able to finish fairly quickly.

This is the banner I made in Fireworks, the other one I made was in flash. This banner works with the name because there are many people with skateboards and they are around an empty bowl. This is to me is a great example of Skate Nation.

In my mind my website really has that exotic view. It uses a tone colouring scheme that I found to be interesting, and it also makes mostly everything standout, like the banner for instance. I think the arrangement of everything was pretty good for you can find what you want without having to scroll down and it's not messily placed. I made seven pages for my website, five of which with the needed content then two more for extra.

I found that starting this project was the only actually hard part. It was confusing and to add on I did it wrong at first, but once that was set straight it was a rather easy project. Making the other pages was easy and organizing it wasn't to difficult. The only other part that I think was troublesome was finding more information for each exotic area. Besides that everything else was made relatively easy. This was an okay project.

Today

I caught up after missing a day of school and now am up to just the editing of 2 photos. It shouldn't take me very long. I think my exotic travel project is coming along nicely and that I will be pleased with my mark.

This shows that the beaches aren't too full and you can get privacy. The peaceful lakes are a definate vacation spot.

I like this because i like the solitude and peacefulness from this picture. It makes me want to take a vacation to Kenya , but that won't happen.

i dislike site

This has almost no color scheme to it and nothing to grab your attention. This is basically a blank site with just lots of information.

Not the best organization skills and you have to scroll down lots but it has everything you need on the first page. It gets your attention too with humor on the pictures they have. This is a good website I think.

This website grabs your attention because of the color scheme in the back. It has tone of blue. I think that everything is categorized well and it is easy to find what you want.

This is really organized and you can find whatever you need from our school very easily. It uses it space well and doesn’t leave anything out as well as it is not overloaded with information. The color scheme may not be fancy or eye catching, but it is soothing and works.

October 7,09

Today I remade my logo and finished the sheet for it. I liked today for the some of the music we listened to but was annoyed by most of it. Today wasn't as much work as last day but was a good one.

Old logo better version

This is my old logo but revised now. I think it gets my point around better. It now shows that the tree was my sketch and now people will know that i'm promoting myself as an sketch artist.

October 5

Today I managed to finish everything that was due. I also started project 8 and finished it as well. I got marks for my slideshow and nameplate. I had to edit my nameplate a bit for full marks. Today was a well worked day.

Personal Logo

This logo represents me as an artist. It's for a website with my drawings and is for promoting me as an artist. I'm also trying to appeal to those interested in drawing. This website will only have my sketches and drawing.

Nameplate

Today I made this nameplate in fireworks. I like this nameplant because to me it grabbed my attention and had a cool style. It didn't have colour to it which may be thought of a flaw, but I think that it's fine how it is. I interviewed Cory for his nameplant and I was interviewed by Bryce. I got a good interview I would say and gave a good one to Cory. This was a fun project.

Info tech, for education.

Information Technology plays an important role in my education because for what I want to do I need it. I want to go into video game design or animation. This course helps me to start with it and gives me a good understanding of how to do what I want. This is important to my education, but I also chose it because i just like working with computers.

Today

Me Bryce and Cory had to take another 60 pictures for our project. After half a block of walking around we got them done. Then I got my drawings scanned and now I have my slideshow ready for my blog, But I didn't have enough time for it today.

September 16, 2009

I finished the copyright project and handed it in and got it posted on my blog. I spent the rest of the day taking picture for the next project. We got a bunch of interesting ones a long with a bunch of stupid ones, but at least they work. We finished uploading them and now are starting to edit them and take the ones we want. It was an enjoyable day.

The Copyright Project

My reasons for choosing these 3 pictures is because they got my attention. The spider one i thought was an interesting optical illusion, it seems to be moving where as its just staying still and flashing black and white. The Picture of the guy and the pain blob was just an enjoyable piece of art work. I liked the style of it. In the last one, the optical illsuion of lines, I thought that it was an interesting representation of the basic optical illsuion. First week of school.

My first week of school is going pretty good so far, I like the classes I got and I don't plan on switching any of them. I don't think I should be having any problems except for with physics. I have only been in it for one day, and i already have 8 pages of homework and it took me an hour of class to get through a page and a half. Physics I think will be the hardest class I have ever taken, but at least I know it will be one of the funest, but besides physics I think every other class will be pretty easy.
